The position of Cleaner/Floor Technician entails the provision of cleaning and maintenance services for a designated area within commercial premises. The incumbent is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of floors through the utilization of various tools, scrubbers, and cleaning agents to guarantee a safe and well-maintained environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
- Provision of cleaning and maintenance services for a designated area.
- Demonstrated ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy equipment or materials.
- Ensuring proper cleanliness and maintenance of floors.
- Proficiency in the safe handling of cleaning products and equipment.
- Familiarity with floor-cleaning equipment such as buffers, polishers, and vacuums.
- Efficient completion of tasks within designated timelines.
- Valid Driver's License and access to RELIABLE Transportation
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Adherence to prescribed procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- General cleaning and maintenance of buildings/facilities.
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
- Cleaning and disinfecting hard surface floors (e.g., tile, wood, linoleum).
- Removing stains and dirt from carpets and other flooring materials.
- Application of floor finishes such as wax, polish, or sealants.
- Stripping old wax or polish and reapplying new layers.
- Buffing floors using specialized machinery to maintain shine and cleanliness.
- Operation of floor-cleaning equipment (e.g., buffers, scrubbers, waxers, vacuums).
- Maintenance and cleaning of floor care equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Regular inspection of floors for damage (e.g., cracks, chips) and prompt reporting of necessary repairs.
- Adherence to safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Placement of safety signs to caution others of wet or slippery floors.
- Documentation of cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Reporting of significant issues or repair requirements to supervisors.
- Execution of deep cleaning for special events or seasonal maintenance.
- Handling of stripping and refinishing of floors in high-traffic or heavily worn areas.
- Establishment and maintenance of effective communication and professional relationships with clients, colleagues, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Compliance with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
