Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
Consistently demonstrates superior customer services kills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Success behaviors and FOCUS skills. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebratescustomer wins. Is ready to serve andwell informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs andany other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greetingguests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs of the guest and provides fast, flawless service.Executes all service programs to assure prioritization of service to very bestguests. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Total Rewards programs and Total Rewards registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Promotes Harrah's and always projects Harrah's in a positive light to guests.
Cash and sell bet tickets to the public. Processes customer requests for credit card cash advances and personal check cashing using network-wide computer system. Rapidly and accurately disburses approved funds to customers. Provide good public relations in the form of friendly, courteous, responsive, and accurate assistance during all customer service transactions. Provide educational assistance to new patrons. Ensures compliance with the federal currency transaction reporting requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Promotes outstanding customer relations. Ensures compliance with PA Harness Racing Commission regulations and other gaming regulations as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Ensures adherence to departmental/company policies and procedures. Implements the departmental internal controls and security.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Very strong customer relations skills. Solid understanding of the pari-mutuel customer's motivations and expectations. Previous pari-mutuel mutual clerk experience preferred.
Is fluent on Microsoft Office software products, and is viewed as an outstanding team player .
Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to obtain a Harness and Gaming license through the state of Pennsylvania .
