Performs a wide variety of skilled general maintenance, repair, and modification of machinery and mechanical equipment. Duties may include: preventative maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems, examination of mechanical equipment to diagnose potential future problems, Assembly and installation of mechanical equipment and systems, following drawings, blueprints, and general instructions. May provide leadership to junior personnel.

  • Maintain and repair building and process equipment including distillation stills, Luwas, Pot Stills, cooling towers, salt towers, cookers, pumps, HVAC, and boilers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspection of equipment
  • Evaluate efficiency of support equipment i.e. PMs, MP2 Work Orders
  • Guide Mechanics in Their Responsibility
  • Schedule Mechanics daily work
  • Schedule site specific Contractors daily work
  • High School + specialized training or 1 year college required.
  • Stationary Engineers License required.
  • Certified Millwright required.
  • 5 to 7 years experience.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Organizational & leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in outdoor areas with extreme weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of cooling towers & chillers, fabrication, boiler operation, alignment and power transmission.
  • Travel required of 10% - 25%.
  • Minimum education requirements required by law/regulatory agency.
  • Related work experience in lieu of licensures and/or certifications accepted.
