The Housekeeping Overnight Cleaner at American Airlines The Landing at Skyview 6 is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas, including conference center meeting rooms, carpet cleaning, office space and public restrooms during the overnight shift.
Responsibilities:
- Performs cleaning tasks in public areas and meeting rooms, including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
- Returns food & beverage service items found in the public areas to the proper department.
- Ensure that all equipment is distributed and maintained in proper operating order.
- Ensure that all public restrooms are stocked.
- Ensure delivery of guest request items to guest rooms.
- Ensure that trash is collected and disposed of properly.
- Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to the on-duty supervisor.
- Report and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tiles, etc.).
- Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping a plus.
- Ability to move, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-30 pounds.
- Ability to move up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
- A flexible schedule that allows availability for 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel.
