We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of a Groundskeeper 2 position within the Office of General Services, headquartered at Fountain Square main campus in Franklin county. What you will do

• Picks trash up daily around the Fountain Square Complex
• Moves office furniture within and between the several buildings located on the Fountain Square Complex
• Operates a skid steer at Fountain Square Complex and State Fairgrounds
• Waters and maintains flowerbeds at the State Fairgrounds and Fountain Square Complex
• Performs snow removal (e.g., remove snow with a pickup truck and plow, shovel around doorways, spread salt)
• Starting hourly pay of $19.95/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 3.5 years of service, with an end salary of $21.97/hr

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in grounds maintenance.

• Or 6 mos. exp. as Groundskeeper 1, 53611.
• Or alternative, equivalent evidence of the minimum class qualifications noted above.
