Banquet Concessions Bartender - Eldorado Scioto Downs - Columbus, OH

Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drink Preparation: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of food items, such as snacks and sandwiches, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Order Handling: Take and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints.
• Cash Handling: Operate the POS and cash drawer, handle transactions, and manage cash accurately.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and restock inventory as needed, including beverages, food items, and supplies.
• Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• Must be over 21 years of age and able to get a non-gaming OLC license.

Working Conditions:

• Scheduled hours will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
