Pangea, a groundbreaking pod hotel in the heart of Whistlers pedestrian village, is looking for front of house staff who can make our guests feel special. As bartender, barista and server in one, youll be at the front line of our operations, interacting with guests on a personal level and ensuring they leave Pangea having had an unforgettable experience.

Youll be an outgoing, charismatic individual capable of engaging with an international clientele. Youll be confident talking to guests, having an ability to converse on just about any subject especially if it it involves skiing, boarding, biking or travel in general. Most essentially, youll deliver first-class service with a personal touch.

Naturally, our front of house staff need to be warm and welcoming, even in difficult circumstances. Thats why youre a people person energetic, enthusiastic, courteous and diplomatic. Needless to say, youre a team-player, always looking to pitch in to help other Pangea People wherever needed.

As a member of our front of house team youll be a bartender, barista and server in one, performing each of these roles as required. And regardless of whether youre pouring a latte on one day or mixing a Martini on the next, youll be delivering inspirational services to our guests.

REQUIREMENTS.
We hire for attitude and train for skills, meaning experience as a bartender, barista or server isnt strictly necessary for this role. Having a positive outlook and a warm, friendly nature is, however, non-negotiable (thats something we cant teach).
Must be confident conversing with guests
Language skills a bonus.
