Work Shift:
Evening Shift (3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
Rotating weekends/holidays
Brief Overview
If you like working with senior citizens, you will love working at Freeman Regional Assisted Living! As a Dining Room Assistant, you will provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude while serving resident meals and beverages. I n a food and services role, you can deliver a great service experience with delicious meals and a positive attitude.
What you will do:
Prepare food items for assigned area.
Meet standards, established by Leader, for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
Follow extended menu and standardized recipes.
Serve meals/beverages with attention to temperature maintenance.
Mentor new employees and assists with their orientation.
Lead, by example, following Freeman Regional Health Services CARE standards.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Must be 16 yrs old
High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety would be helpful
