You’ve just landed a coveted interview for a tech position—now what? As a tech-savvy job seeker, you can increase your chances of getting hired with a strong, compelling tech portfolio.

A tech portfolio should showcase the finest recent examples of your work. Armed with this real, tangible evidence of your strengths, you’ll walk into the interview better prepared to answer questions and impress recruiters. Here’s how to create an effective technical portfolio.

Strategize Your Portfolio

Your tech portfolio should ideally answer the following questions:

• What knowledge and skills do you want to show potential employers?
• Who are you showing it to?
• How will you highlight your strengths in the portfolio?
• How can you use your portfolio to shine the spotlight on other job-related skills?
