Porter Jobs in Illinois
In the Hospitality Service industry, a Porter plays a pivotal role in ensuring guests have a satisfactory experience. They are primarily responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, guiding them to their rooms, and providing general information about the hotel or lodging facility and its services. Essential skills for a Porter include strong customer service skills, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. They should also be familiar with the layout of the property and available services. Some employers may require a high school diploma or equivalent.
